The No. 77 Truck is back for another strong season, featuring a rotating lineup of talented drivers in 2026. Carson Hocevar made his 2026 NCTS debut in the No. 77 truck at Daytona, featuring a co-primary sponsorship from IKEA & Best Buy. Hocevar followed up his debut with a second place finish at Atlanta, piloting the No. 77 Delaware Life Silverado in the FR8 Racing 208, where Spire Motorsports' trucks finished 1-2. James Hinchcliffe made his debut in the NCTS at St. Petersburg, scoring a Top-10 finish in the No. 77 Delaware Life Silverado. Hocevar got back behind the wheel of the No. 77 Delaware Life Silverado at Darlington Raceway, Rockingham Speedway, and Bristol Motor Speedway. Hocevar then piloted the No. 77 Chili's Silverado at Texas Motor Speedway, where he won the SpeedyCash.com 250. Following his win, Hocevar returned to the No. 77 Delaware Life Silverado for the Bully Hill Vineyards 176 at The Glen and the ECOSAVE 200 at Dover Motor Speedway. At Charlotte Motor Speedway, Connor Zilisch got behind the wheel of the No. 77 Silverado and scored a Top-3 finish. Jesse Love made his 2026 Spire Motorsports debut piloting the No. 77 Silverado at Nashville Superspeedway. At Michigan Intl. Speedway Carson Hocevar got back behind the wheel of the No. 77 Zeigler Silverado, finishing in the Top-3.

Chad Walter enters his second season with Spire Motorsports, calling the shots for Andres Perez and the No. 77 team. Last season, the 53-year-old helped Rajah Caruth to five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes, including his first-career NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March and a Round of 8 appearance in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Playoffs. Prior to his time at Spire, the Albion, N.Y., native spent four seasons as the crew chief for GMS Racing’s No. 24 entry, working with Tyler Ankrum, Jack Wood and Rajah Caruth in his rookie season, among others. The 1993 mechanical engineering graduate of Cornell University spent a majority of his career as a race engineer. He contributed to engineering efforts at Dale Earnhardt, Inc., Michael Waltrip Racing and Richard Childress Racing. Walter earned his first crew chief gig in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Hendrick Motorsports. Following his time at Hendrick, calling the shots for the No. 5 Chevrolet. Walter led Team Penske’s No. 12 team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series from 2009-2012 with drivers Sam Hornish, Jr., and Justin Allgaier. Throughout his career, Walter has been part of victories in some of the sport’s most illustrious races including the Daytona 500 (2001, 2003), Pepsi 400 (2002) and Talladega 500 (2003), while contributing to several victories in all three of NASCAR’s national series while behind the scenes.
