Haley, a native of Winamac, Ind., made his NASCAR Cup Series debut for Spire Motorsports on April 28, 2019 at Talladega Superspeedway and picked up both his and the team’s first win – an upset of practically unprecedented proportions – less than three months later in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 behind the wheel of the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro at Daytona International Speedway.
Haley has collected four NASCAR Xfinity Series wins and three NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series wins, making him one of just 41 drivers in history to have earned wins across all three of NASCAR’s National Touring Series. He is has over 125 Cup Series starts with one win, five top fives, 15 top 10s and led 98 laps in NASCAR’s premier division.
Haley began his career racing at the national level in the ARCA Menards Series when he was just 15-years-old. Since then, he’s gone on to amass nearly 300 total starts across NASCAR’s Cup, Xfinity and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.

Ryan Sparks serves in a dual role as both Spire Motorsports Competition Director and crew chief for driver Justin Haley. The duo paired up for the first time at Kansas Speedway in September 2024.
Sparks, a Winston-Salem, N.C., native, also served as Corey LaJoie’s crew chief from 2020 – 2024. Combined, Sparks and LaJoie earned three top-five and eight top-10 finishes, including a pair of top fours in 2023. Following the end of the 2024 campaign, Sparks took sole focus to his role as the team’s competition director, a role he juggled with his crew chiefing duties on the No. 7 Chevrolet.
He previously served as race engineer in multiple capacities at Richard Childress Racing. Sparks played key roles in RCR’s 2011 Camping World Truck Series and 2013 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship-winning seasons. In addition to his championship pedigree, he celebrated a host of wins during his 13-year tenure at RCR, including victories in the 2017 Coca-Cola 600 and the 2018 Daytona 500.
