Allen Hart enters his second season with Spire Motorsports, first in a crew chief role, leading the No. 07 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series entry that will see a rotating roster of drivers throughout 2025. In 2024, Hart coordinated engineering efforts for Nick Sanchez and the No. 2 Silverado under the supervision of veteran crew chief, Kevin “Bono” Manion. Prior to his time at Spire Motorsports, Hart spent two seasons calling the shots for Sam Hunt Racing’s No. 26 Xfinity Series entry. Multiple drivers filled the seat in the 2022 season and Kaz Grala piloted the entry full-time in 2023. The 2005 mechanical engineering graduate of Saginaw Valley (Mich.) State University spent eight years at JR Motorsports as the lead engineer for the No. 7 Chevrolet. After the initially pairing with decorated crew chief, Greg Ives, and Regan Smith for 2014 and 2015, he was reunited with driver Justin Allgaier. In six seasons together (2016-2021), they racked up 13 victories, 83 top fives, 135 top 10s and 3,358 laps led. The team made the Xfinity Series playoffs in all six seasons and reached the Championship 4 on four occasions (2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020). Prior to JR Motorsports, Hart spent time at Team Penske, Bill Davis Racing and Tommy Baldwin Racing as a design engineer.
