JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Design Intern assists with and creates visually compelling graphics that enhance our team’s brand identity, support marketing efforts, and engage with our fanbase.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in creating eye-catching graphics for various media, including social media, websites, print materials, event signage, and merchandise.
- Assist in designing race car liveries, driver uniforms, and team branding elements to ensure a consistent and dynamic visual identity.
- Develop promotional materials such as posters, banners, flyers, and digital ads for marketing campaigns and special events.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with the team’s brand strategy and goals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of visual quality and consistency.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept through to final delivery, while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain organized files and documentation of design assets and projects for easy access and future reference.
- Proactively suggest new ideas and creative approaches to enhance the team’s visual presence and effectiveness in communication.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Passion for NASCAR and motorsports with a good understanding of the sport’s visual and branding needs.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and solve challenges.
- Ability to multi-task, stay calm and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take independent initiatives when the need arises.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, preferably within the sports or motorsports industry.
- 1-3 years’ experience working as a professional graphic designer.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a racing or fast paced sports environment.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
- Position needs to occasionally move to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
