JOB SUMMARY:
The Content Creator creates relevant and engaging long and short form videos and photographs for Spire Motorsports year-round. This position includes travel to the track to capture at-track and on-track video and photo content as well development of off-season content. The Content Creator is expected to create high production cinematic video and quality photography for Spire and its sponsors as needed and sharing or producing content for other entities under the Spire Holdings umbrella.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capture high-quality video content during race events, practice sessions, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Produce promotional videos, highlight reels, and team interviews that align with the team’s branding and marketing goals.
- Edit video footage to create engaging and polished final products for use on social media, the team’s website, and other platforms.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop creative concepts for video content and ensure consistency in style and messaging.
- Take professional photographs of the teams in action, including race days, pit stops, and fan interactions.
- Create high-resolution images for promotional materials, social media, and media outlets.
- Manage and organize the photo library, ensuring easy access to images for marketing and media needs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in photography and videography to keep the team’s content fresh and innovative.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team and other team members to plan and execute content strategies.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar to ensure timely and relevant updates across all platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content, using insights to make data-driven improvements.

- Work closely with drivers, crew members, and sponsors to capture their stories and promote their involvement with the team.
- Attend team meetings and events to stay informed about the latest developments and ensure content is aligned with team objectives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with media representatives and other stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.
- Passion for NASCAR and motorsports with a deep understanding of the sport’s dynamics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover races and events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Photography, Media Production, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a videographer and photographer, preferably in the motorsports or sports industry.
- 1-3 years’ experience working as a professional videographer.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a racing or fast paced sports environment.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving around while carrying objects.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Position needs to occasionally move to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Regularly access low and high spaces that may be at irregular angles such as in or under a vehicle.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Capability to handle and transport camera equipment, including heavy gear and tripods.
