Thomas Annunziata – Driver, No. 07 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado
START: 13TH | FINISH: 15TH | OWNER POINTS: 10TH |

Thomas Annunziata, driver of Spire Motorsports’ No. 07 TOP LINER Chevrolet Silverado, finished 15th in his CRAFTSMAN Truck Debut during Saturday’s LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
The Colts Neck, N.J., native qualified 13th, taking the green flag from the inside of the seventh row. Despite limited prior experience behind the wheel of a truck, Annunziata drove to the top 10 by the conclusion of Stage 1. He maintained pace in Stage 2, reaching the eighth position when the green-and-white checkered flag flew for the second time on the day. During the ensuing stage break, crew chief Allen Hart made the call for a track bar adjustment to free up the No. 07 Chevy.
The start to the Final Stage turned physical, seeing Annunziata shuffled to 19th. A late-race caution set up a restart with six laps to go. When racing resumed, the 20-year-old gained four positions to finish 15th.
Thomas’ Post-Race Comments
“Our TOP LINER, Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado was super fast this weekend. We kept getting better and better as the weekend went on and had a top-10, if not a top-five, truck. We were running really well, but all the chaos broke out at the end. It is what it is, but we were still able to rebound for a top-15 finish. I’d like to thank everyone at Spire Motorsports for the opportunity.”

Jordan Taylor – Driver, No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado
START: 2ND | FINISH: 20TH | OWNER POINTS: 7TH |

Road-course ace Jordan Taylor ran in the top three for the majority of Saturday’s Liuna 150 at Lime Rock before getting used up on a late-race restart. He ultimately was rewarded an undeserving 20th-place finish.
Taylor qualified second, and after losing one spot on the event’s opening lap, settled into the third position, where he finished both Stage 1 and Stage 2. The 34-year-old driver communicated that he needed “a little bit of front grip” going into the Final Stage in order to compete with the top-two competitors. On the ensuing restart, the No. 7 Gainbridge Silverado lost two spots before settling into the fifth position, where he remained when a caution came out with 11 laps remaining.
Entering Turn 1 on the Lap 94 restart, the No. 38 truck went off course down the frontstretch before rejoining the track into the side of the No. 7, sending Taylor spinning into the grass. Once the Orlando, Fla., native got going the right way, he had subsided to the 21st position. Over the closing circuits he was able to gain one spot and closed his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series debut with a top-20 finish.
Jordan’s Post-Race Comments
“It was a clean day until it wasn’t. I felt like our Gainbridge Chevrolet definitely had top-three speed all day, but I’m not sure we really had much for the top-two guys. On the second-to-last restart, we got shoved by the No. 38 truck and lost two positions back to fifth. Then the No. 38 didn’t try to make the corner and drove through us, alongside half the field. In the end, it was a disappointing day, but it was nice that we at least got some stage points for the team’s battle to make the owner’s playoffs.”

Rajah Caruth – Driver, No. 71 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado
START: 7TH | FINISH: 21ST | DRIVER POINTS: 13TH |

Rajah Caruth qualified seventh for Saturday’s LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park. Track position proved to be crucial for the duration of the day, which the driver of the No. 71 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado managed throughout the afternoon. While seeking more lateral grip and forward drive off in the front half of the course, Caruth held on to finish eighth in Stage 1.
Stage 2 played out in a similar fashion, seeing the 23-year-old driver settle into the ninth position by stage-end while continuing to search for more rear grip in the course’s two fastest corners.
As the laps ticked down, a top-10 day seemed apparent for the two-time CRAFTSMAN Truck Series winner until a caution with 11 laps remaining bunched the field together. On the ensuing restart, contact from behind sent the Washington, D.C., native off course in Turn 1, erasing his hard fought track position. After getting his Silverado back on the racing surface, Caruth crossed the line in the 24th position.
Rajah’s Post-Race Comments
“We were having a pretty good day until that restart at the end. That’s part of racing. Looked like we were going to get another top 10, but it wasn’t meant to be. This race track is neat, and the drive to the track is really cool. Just wish I could have gotten a better finish for my team that works so hard. As always, big thank you to Mr. and Mrs. H., Hendrick Automotive Group, everyone at Spire Motorsports and Team Chevy. We will take a few weeks here to regoup and get ready for the final run to the playoffs.”

Andres Perez de Lara – Driver, No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado
START: 10TH | FINISH: 17TH | DRIVER POINTS: 17TH |

Andres Perez de Lara, driver of Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 Telcel Silverado, qualified 10th for Saturday’s LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park. As Stage 1 progressed, the Mexico City native battled a tight-handling Chevy, making it difficult to maintain track position. During the first stage break, crew chief Chad Walter took a swing at the handle, making an air pressure adjustment and adding a spring rubber to assist the rookie driver.
The 2024 ARCA Menards Series Champion continued to battle handling issues throughout the day, despite numerous attempts to free up the Telcel Silverado. Despite gaining position on the choose prior to a restart with four laps remaining, Perez de Lara was shoved off track by a competitor, sending him backwards. He crossed the line in the 16th position.
Andres’ Post-Race Comments
“An“Overall, a frustrating day for us. We lost some track position early on and could get it back. We were just too tight over the long run. We will have to back through our notes to see how we can improve before Watkins Glen. I know we will continue to work hard and get better as the year goes on.”
